1. Introduction & Agreement
Welcome! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the coaching services, digital products, and community memberships provided by Julian Kohlbrand (doing business as Jewlz The Budget Nerd). By using this site or purchasing a service, you agree to these terms.
Please note that this website is hosted on the Podia platform. While these terms cover my coaching relationship with you, your use of the website is also subject to [Podia’s standard platform terms].
2. Scope of Service: Financial Coaching, Not Licensed Advice
I am a Certified Financial Coach (through Ramsey Solutions). My mission is to provide you with the tools, strategies, and ADHD-friendly systems to manage your money.
Educational Only: My services are for educational and informational purposes only.
Not Licensed Advice: I am not a CPA, attorney, or licensed investment advisor. I do not provide legal, medical, or licensed financial advice.
Professional Responsibility: You are responsible for doing your own research and consulting with licensed professionals for your specific legal, financial, or health needs.
3. Transparent Pricing & Payments
In the spirit of radical transparency, I do not use "DM for pricing" or hidden fees.
The Alliance Coaching Membership: $49/month.
1:1 Personalized Coaching: Rates are provided during the tiered intake process.
4. Refund & Cancellation Policy (The "Integrity" Clause)
Because I value your autonomy and consent, I have established clear rules for our business relationship:
Digital Products (e.g., Grocery Reset Playbook): Due to the instant-access nature of digital downloads, all sales of digital products are final and non-refundable.
The Alliance Membership:
Autonomy: You may cancel your membership at any time through your account dashboard or by emailing hello@jewlzthebudgetnerd.com with your request.
Access: Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the community and recordings until the end of your current billing cycle.
No Pro-rated Refunds: I do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months.
1:1 Personalized Coaching:
Rescheduling: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule a session.
No-Shows: Sessions missed without 24-hour notice are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
Fit Guarantee: If after our first 1:1 session you feel we aren't a good fit, contact me within 24 hours of that session for a refund of the remaining balance of your package.
5. Intellectual Property
I have spent over 25 years studying personal finance to create these systems. All content provided—including the Debt Rebel Podcast, workshop recordings, and worksheets—is my intellectual property. You are granted a limited license to use these for your personal use only and may not sell, modify, or distribute them for commercial gain.
6. Accessibility & Communication
This business is built as an ADHD accommodation. I provide information through multiple modalities (audio, video, text) and offer Voxer asynchronous support for those who prefer it over live calls. If you encounter any barriers, please contact me at hello@jewlzthebudgetnerd.com.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA
